ASIA - Indian jewellery trade magazine and event organiser The Art of Jewellery has acquired the Hitex International Gems and Jewellery Expo in Hyderabad. The event, which has taken place in the city since 2005, attracts jewellery retailers Andhra, Jaipur, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.
Other shows organised by The Art of Jewellery include the South India Jewellery Show, Best of India Jewellery Show and the Kerala Gem and Jewellery Show. The event will continue to be held at the Hitex fair grounds, Hyderabad.
''The acquisition of Hitex International Gem and Jewellery Expo marks our entry into Andhra Pradesh, which is a very important and a significant jewellery market in South India,” said MD and chief editor for The Art of Jewellery, Sumesh Wadhera. “We are looking forward to adding further value to the expo.
