The management of Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has been striving hard under the leadership of the newly appointed CEO, Bakhtiar Khan to give the much needed boost to the most promising gems & jewellery sector of Pakistan.
Simultaneously the recently established Board of Directors, PGJDC, while managing and overseeing the affairs of the Company under the Chairmanship of Senator Mrs Semeen Siddiqui, is geared up,to take up the Company and the Gems & Jewellery industry to new heights. With the new management, PGJDC is committed to realise its vision to develop the Gems & Jewellery industry by enhancing the value chain productivity from Mine to Market through institutional arrangements, common facility centres, skill development, technology up-gradation and marketing/branding culminating into increase in exports from the country. PGJDC a public/private partnership has been established by Ministry of Production, Government of Pakistan, is a subsidiary of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC).
With full support from the Government of Pakistan the Company with the new management is set towards progressing exponentially for the gems and jewellery sector development in the country.
