Janet Setter will launch her Spring 2010 jewelry collection next week at Bloomingdale’s, Short Hills, with a nod to nature and RECYCLE themes.
Flower blossoms, recycled silver medallions, and the whimsical "Recycle" necklace are but a few of the pieces new for this spring.
We encourage clients to find and follow their own trend with a selection of unique and unusual chains that can be further personalized with stones and charms of their own choosing; creating their own signature piece.
Janet Setter has been creating one of-a-kind fine jewelry for the past ten years using sterling silver, precious metals.
And a wide variety of unusual stones/objects. Her unique style captures the simplicity of an object and then presents it in a clean, no nonsense fashion, understandable by all. Classic accessory pieces have been updated for wear ability in today’s fashion oriented world.
Designs are more organic in feel and texture, than their manufactured counterparts; with a deliberate handcrafted, yet invisible "fingerprint". After a career in the automotive retail industry, designer Janet Setter pursued her long time interest in designing and creating sterling silver jewelry.
Apprenticing in Joseph, Oregon with the local silversmiths, she now designs and manufacturers her jewelry at her studio. She spends most of her recreational time in the out of doors, and when that is not possible she use those experiences as an underlying theme throughout her work. Designs are her own and represent the creative use of the materials and tools on hand in her studio.
